DAJT tape protects the deck substructure from rain.
The tape is applied on the upper side of the timber frame before the decking boards are placed and fastened. A paper liner which protects the glue of the tape is removed before applying it onto the timber. The tape is then smoothened out with a flat object or by using your hands (gloves recommended).
